At Your Wed Stories, every wedding is planned well in advance with dedicated time, creative preparation, and reserved event dates. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms relating to booking cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and exceptional circumstances.
By confirming your booking with Your Wed Stories, you acknowledge and agree to the following policy.
1. Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only after:
- Acceptance of the quotation or agreement.
- Receipt of the agreed booking amount.
- Written confirmation from Your Wed Stories.
Once confirmed, your event dates are exclusively reserved and are no longer available for other bookings.
2. Booking Amount
The booking amount is a commitment fee that secures your wedding dates and covers initial planning, scheduling, consultations, and preparation.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the booking amount is non-refundable.
3. Client Cancellation
If the Client decides to cancel the booking for any reason, the cancellation request must be communicated in writing via email or WhatsApp.
The following terms apply:
- The booking amount will not be refunded.
- Any additional payments made toward completed services or expenses already incurred may also be non-refundable.
- Any travel, accommodation, permit, or third-party expenses already paid on behalf of the Client will remain payable by the Client.
4. Wedding Date Rescheduling
We understand that wedding dates may occasionally change due to unforeseen circumstances.
If the Client wishes to reschedule:
- The new date must be requested in writing.
- Rescheduling is subject to our availability.
- If our team is available, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the new date.
- Additional charges may apply if the revised schedule results in increased costs or additional travel.
If Your Wed Stories is unavailable on the new requested date, the booking will be treated as a cancellation under this policy.
5. Cancellation by Your Wed Stories
In the unlikely event that Your Wed Stories is unable to provide the contracted services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will:
- Make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable replacement team where possible; or
- Refund any payments received for services that cannot be delivered.
This shall constitute the maximum liability of Your Wed Stories.
6. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Severe weather conditions
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Civil unrest
- Strikes
- Venue closures
- Travel restrictions
- Other unforeseen emergencies
In such situations, both parties will work together in good faith to explore rescheduling or alternative arrangements wherever reasonably possible.
7. Third-Party Expenses
Any payments made towards third-party services arranged specifically for your project—including travel, accommodation, permits, assistants, equipment rentals, drone permissions, or album production—may not be refundable once those expenses have been incurred.
8. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved under this policy:
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
- Processing times may vary depending on banking procedures.
- Any applicable bank charges, payment gateway fees, or transaction costs may be deducted where permitted by law.
9. Digital Deliverables
Once edited photographs, films, albums, or any digital deliverables have been shared or approved by the Client, they are considered accepted.
No refunds will be provided after final delivery of completed services.
10. Changes to This Policy
Your Wed Stories reserves the right to modify or update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time.
Any revisions will be published on this page with the updated effective date.
