Welcome to Your Wed Stories. By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, or booking our photography and cinematography services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
1. About Us
Your Wed Stories specialises in luxury wedding photography and cinematography across India and international destinations. These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, services, and interactions between Your Wed Stories (“Studio”, “we”, “our”, “us”) and the client (“Client”, “you”, “your”).
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after:
- Both parties agree on the scope of work.
- The booking amount is received.
- The quotation or agreement is accepted in writing.
Dates are reserved exclusively for confirmed bookings and cannot be held without the required booking payment.
3. Payments
The payment schedule will be mentioned in your quotation or agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- A booking amount is required to secure your event dates.
- Remaining payments must be completed according to the agreed schedule.
- Final deliverables may be withheld until all outstanding payments are cleared.
Any taxes applicable under Indian law will be charged separately where required.
4. Changes to the Booking
Any request to modify:
- wedding dates
- event timings
- locations
- coverage hours
- deliverables
must be communicated in writing.
While we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes, they are subject to our availability and may involve additional charges.
5. Travel & Accommodation
For destination weddings or events outside our home city, the Client shall arrange or reimburse:
- travel expenses
- accommodation
- local transportation
unless specifically included in the agreed quotation.
Travel arrangements should allow our team sufficient time before the scheduled event.
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- obtain permissions required at venues
- ensure photography and filming are permitted
- provide accurate event schedules
- designate a family coordinator whenever possible
- inform us about important traditions, ceremonies, or VIP guests that require special coverage.
Your Wed Stories cannot be held responsible for moments missed due to schedule delays, venue restrictions, or lack of communication.
7. Artistic Style
By booking Your Wed Stories, the Client acknowledges that they are familiar with our portfolio, editing style, colour grading, storytelling approach, and overall creative vision.
Photography and films are created in our signature artistic style.
Editing preferences that significantly differ from our established style may not be accommodated.
Creative decisions including composition, lighting, music selection, editing techniques, sequencing, and storytelling remain at our discretion.
8. Delivery Timeline
Delivery timelines vary depending on the season, event size, and selected services.
Typical delivery includes:
- Preview photographs (where applicable)
- Edited wedding photographs
- Highlight film
- Feature film
- Albums (after design approval)
Estimated delivery timelines will be communicated during the booking process.
Unexpected circumstances beyond our control may occasionally extend delivery timelines.
9. Albums & Revisions
Album design will be shared digitally for approval.
The Client is responsible for reviewing and approving the layout within the communicated timeframe.
Reasonable revision requests are included. Extensive redesigns or repeated revisions may incur additional charges.
Production begins only after final approval.
10. Copyright
All photographs, films, and creative works remain the intellectual property of Your Wed Stories under applicable copyright laws.
Clients receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use the delivered photographs and films for:
- personal viewing
- sharing with friends and family
- social media
- personal printing
Images and films may not be sold, commercially licensed, altered significantly, or used for advertising without written permission.
11. Portfolio Usage
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, Your Wed Stories reserves the right to use selected photographs and films for:
- website portfolio
- YouTube
- blogs
- exhibitions
- competitions
- promotional materials
If you require complete privacy, please discuss this with us before booking so that a separate confidentiality arrangement can be considered.
12. Raw Files
RAW photographs, unedited footage, project files, and editing assets are not included in any package unless specifically agreed in writing.
Only professionally edited final deliverables are provided.
13. Backup & Archiving
We maintain backups of client projects for a reasonable period after delivery.
However, clients are strongly advised to download and securely back up all delivered files upon receipt.
Long-term storage cannot be guaranteed.
14. Equipment & Team
In the unlikely event of equipment malfunction, illness, accident, or unforeseen circumstances, Your Wed Stories will make every reasonable effort to provide suitable replacement equipment or qualified team members.
Our liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client.
15. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- natural disasters
- severe weather
- government restrictions
- strikes
- pandemics
- civil disturbances
- travel disruptions
- venue closures
- emergencies.
Where possible, both parties will work together to find a practical solution.
16. Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable effort is taken to produce exceptional work and safeguard your memories, Your Wed Stories shall not be liable for:
- venue restrictions
- weather conditions
- missed moments caused by schedule delays
- actions of guests or vendors
- loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the affected services.
17. Website Usage
All content available on this website, including photographs, films, logos, graphics, branding, and written material, belongs to Your Wed Stories and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts where Your Wed Stories is registered and operates.
19. Updates
Your Wed Stories may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The latest version published on this website shall apply to all future bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing.
